From representing Rhodesia in the Optimist World Championships to sailing the globe in a retro race
I have over 200,000 nautical miles under sail with approximately 90% as skipper, on vessels ranging from 82’Oysters to large multihulls.
My experience hasn’t come from fast-tracked training but from years of hard-earned miles at sea, learning alongside some of the country’s finest yachtsmen.
I hold an SAS Yachtmaster Ocean qualification.
Beyond racing
I have skippered and delivered yachts across the Indian, Atlantic, and Mediterranean waters, including long-haul solo passages and transoceanic crossings.
With hands-on experience building and sailing expedition yachts, combined with intimate knowledge of traditional and modern navigation, I have a wide range of experience on a variety of vessels that should give you peace of mind when I deliver your boat.
